The company is working with the National Mediation Board to reach a mutually beneficial agreement recognizing the pilots&#8217; contribution and ensuring their industry competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Railway Labor Act governs the negotiation process between Southwest Airlines and its pilots. Which mandates specific procedures to be followed. The National Mediation Board has been appointed to oversee the negotiations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are responsible for scheduling the talks, deciding on the agenda, and encouraging the parties to focus on resolving specific issues.
