The airline will receive these three aircraft next week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline will receive the fourth Ex-Delta Air Lines Boeing 777s. Furthermore, the thirty aircraft leased earlier included twenty-one Airbus A320s, four Airbus A321s, and five Boeing B777-200LR widebody aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline has recently taken the delivery of its&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2023\/03\/26\/air-india-takes-delivery-of-first-new-airbus-a321neo-named-after-ratan-tata-exclusive\/\"><strong>first Airbus A321neo<\/strong><\/a>. Furthermore, the narrow-body airliner is registered as&nbsp;<strong>VT-RTD&nbsp;<\/strong>to give tribute to TATA group chairman Emeritus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Airbus A321 will be 3rd and 4th to be added to the fleet. While the Boeing 777 will be the fourth aircraft in the fleet. According to Planspotters.net, AI has seven Boeing 777-200 variants. This includes three pre-owned Boeing 777-200, which it took in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three ex-Delta Boeing 777-200LR have the reg  VT-AEF, VT-AEG, and VT-AEH. Furthermore, the upcoming aircraft has reg VT-AEE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the two new A321neo have the reg VT-RTB and VT-RTE. The aircraft were manufactured between 2012 and 2013 and were previously operated by Etihad Airways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to data, Altavair purchased the six 777-300ERs from Etihad in 2020. Moreover, this transaction was part of a larger agreement involving many Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air India announced that the induction of six more 777-300ER aircraft to its existing fleet would occur in the first half of 2023. Subsequently, They have the aim of augmenting the airline\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from this, Air India will soon induct five Airbus A350s. With chronological order of 470 aircraft from<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Airbus\">&nbsp;Airbus<\/a>&nbsp;and Boeing, the Indian FSC is all set to become the largest carrier in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from this, Tata is looking to merge Air India (AI) with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Vistara\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vistara (UK)<\/a>&nbsp;by the end of next year.
