On Tuesday, federal officials stopped Southwest Airlines (WN) flights from taking off. By late morning on the East Coast. FlightAware reported that over 1,500 Southwest flights had been delayed, which accounted for more than 50% of all delays in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Southwest Resumed operations after operational issues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After experiencing data connection problems due to a firewall failure, Southwest Airlines temporarily suspended flight operations this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has since resumed operations after its teams worked to minimize disruptions. Passengers are advised to check their flight status on Southwest’s website or visit a customer service agent at the airport for assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
