Air India will have new interiors and cabin crew uniforms. On Monday, the airline also reveals new pay scales for its pilots and cabin workers and a new rostering system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to internal information from CEO Campbell Wilson. Air India will soon have a new color palette and emblems. Different designs for the cabin interiors and staff uniforms will adorn its aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CEO, Campbell Wilson, Air India, stated that the designs were “progressing well” and that arrangement for their “reveals” were being made. In a recent interview, Mr. Wilson said that while the iconic Maharajah might still be included in the airline’s mascot, it might also contain a “she.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, the airline will reveal new pay scales for its pilots and cabin crew. As well as a new rostering system that, according to Mr. Wilson. It will improve “transparency, fairness, equity, roster stability, protection of golden offs and reduce fatigue.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though most employees had their COVID-19 cuts restored by September of last year, pilots reported that some cuts persisted, such as lowering the minimum pay equivalent from 70 to 20 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many pilots expressed concern that they were not getting rewarded for the flying time they lost since some were being taken out of the air for training on the newer types of aircraft the airline was adding to its fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All airlines have been experiencing a slow-burning frustration with the rising levels of weariness and the frequent rescheduling of scheduled assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since several airlines, including Vistara, AirAsia India, and Air India Express are now being combined under the larger Air India Group, another issue that is anticipated to be solved is one of seniority for pilots.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Some Air India pilots rejected one of the management’s suggestions to create a master seniority list on a “ratio basis” because they believed it would unfairly favor newer airlines like Vistara and Air India Express pilots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also claimed that speedier promotions had occurred at these airlines. The formula suggested would do the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
