Air India CEO Campbell Wilson, in an internal communication to the airline staff, stated that 2023 is set to be a significant and exciting year in the history of the new Air India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wilson stated that nearly 400 new cabin crew are being released in the coming weeks. With another 1,400 in various stages of training to relieve roster pressure and allow growth to resume. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, the first module of Air India’s new roster system is nearly complete. He stated that crew ambassadors discussed the entire system.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It will increase transparency, fairness and equity, roster stability, the protection of golden offs, and reduce fatigue,” said Wilson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s fourth leased B772LR is undergoing final pre-delivery checks, and preparations for the entry-into-service of six more B773ERs, their first A350s, and numerous narrow bodies are underway, according to the airline’s CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wilson also stated that the design of new aircraft interiors, livery, crew uniforms, and a new website was on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our Vatika campus and potential locations for our new training academy are nearing completion,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
