On a Friday<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goindigo.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> IndiGo aircraft <\/a><\/strong>from Delhi to Bengaluru, a drunk passenger attempted to pry open an emergency door flap. The jet safely landed at its intended location after the flight crew was able to diffuse the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-indigo-flight-from-delhi-to-bengaluru\">IndiGo flight from Delhi to Bengaluru<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The issue was brought to the attention of the relevant agencies by airline workers, and authorities took the necessary measures. The block time for the flight is just about 2.5 hours. Flight monitoring information shows that Friday&#8217;s flight (6E 308) took off at 08:12, 12 minutes later than expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>When the event happened during the trip was not made clear by the airline. Even still, there were no noticeable delays when the plane arrived in Bengaluru at 10:39 ahead of schedule.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>An inebriated passenger on the flight attempted to open the emergency exit, according to the airline. The personnel on board immediately informed the captain of this infraction, and the passenger received the proper warning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The safety of the aforementioned flight was not compromised, and the rowdy passenger was turned over to the CISF upon landing in Bengaluru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IndiGo crew has dealt with a similar situation before in recent weeks, not only in this incident. On board IndiGo flight 6E762 from northeastern Indian city of Guwahati to New Delhi, a passenger defecated all over the restroom and vomited on the aisle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the trip, several passengers praised IndiGo&#8217;s flight attendants on social media for how they handled the situation and dealt with the unpleasant duty of cleaning up the mess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-directorate-general-of-civil-aviation\">Directorate General of Civil Aviation <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India&#8217;s aviation authority, has policies for &#8220;Handling of unruly\/ disruptive passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8221; The legislation stipulates that before adding passengers to the &#8220;No Fly List,&#8221; airlines must follow a certain process for holding them responsible. V K Singh, the minister of state for civil aviation, recently stated that as of March 15th, ten people have already been added to the &#8220;No Fly List&#8221; for this year.
