Delta Air Lines flight DL537 had to make an impromptu stop in Oklahoma on Friday, April 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-delta-air-lines\">Delta Air Lines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight was en route from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Los_Angeles_International_Airport\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Los Angeles International Airport <\/a><\/strong>(LAX) to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hartsfield%E2%80%93Jackson_Atlanta_International_Airport\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport<\/a><\/strong> (ATL) when three flight attendants started to feel ill. At the time of writing, it was not known what their current condition was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li><strong>The 197-passenger Eater weekend flight was being operated by a 32-year-old grandmother of the Delta fleet, a Boeing 757-200 with the registration N667DN. It was anticipated that:<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>At 13:00, DL537 was supposed to fly from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and reach there at 20:10 the same day.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>According to Flightradar24, the flight instead operated the unexpected but required detour while adhering to the following schedule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>DL537 took off from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 13:24 and landed at Oklahoma City Will Rogers World Airport (OKC) at 17:52. From OKC, DL537 was able to continue its journey the next day, April 7, at 12:11, arriving at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) at 14:48<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-flight-from-lax-to-atl\">Flight from LAX to ATL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The stranded passengers were deplaned and made to spend the night in a hotel in Oklahoma City since many crew members were out of commission owing to unexplained illness and were taken to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, on Good Friday, April 7, maintenance gave the go-ahead for the flight to take off once more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NEW: A Delta flight from LAX to ATL was diverted to OKC when flight attendants became sick. The Federal Aviation Administration, however, announced that it will be looking into the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 32-year-old Boeing 757-200, which commonly flies for Delta Air Lines on transcontinental routes, was added to the airline&#8217;s fleet in March 1991.
