Jyotiraditya Scindia, the civil aviation minister, stated that the direct flight between Indore and Sharjah inaugurated by Air India Express on Friday will help to increase trade and commerce between the two countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2013\u201314, Indore in Madhya Pradesh had flights to 6 locations; as of today, it has flights to 24, including 2 foreign cities, Sharjah and Dubai.From Indore to Sharjah, nonstop flights operated by Air India Express have begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The direct route that Air India Express<\/a><\/strong> started running between Indore and Sharjah on Friday will help boost trade and commerce between the two countries, according to a statement made by Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three days a week the trip will be run. According to a press release, Scindia <\/a><\/strong>stated following the start of the flight that it would not only encourage trade and business but also reunite families who were living in other countries. Air India Express also provides direct flights to Dubai from Indore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were only 6 destinations linked to Indore in 2013\u201314. The number of air connections has grown to 24, including 2 foreign locations, in the last nine years. Previously, there were 320 flights per week out of Indore, but there are now 500, he continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
