The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States#:~:text=A%20citizen%20of%20the%20United,connected%20with%20the%20United%20States.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">American aircraft maker declared<\/a><\/strong> it will give the American Red Cross $500,000 in donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We send our condolences to those impacted by the earthquake in T\u00fcrkiye. As we collaborate to help those in need, we are grateful for all of our partners, including <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boeing.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Boeing<\/a><\/strong>. &#8211; Anne McKeough, chief development officer for the American Red Cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-turkish-airline-pegasus-airlines-announced\">Turkish airline Pegasus Airlines announced <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To assist the regions devastated by the 7.5 magnitude earthquake, Turkish airline Pegasus Airlines announced yesterday that it would be running free relief flights. 22 of the 98 flights Pegasus ran between February 6 (the earthquake day) and February 8 were relief flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline is sending first aid supplies in conjunction with the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD). Booking flights out of specific airports is free for travelers between now and February 12. Eight million Turkish Liras were also given to various charities by Pegasus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turkish Airlines did not provide free flights, but they did announce considerably reduced prices for the impacted areas.
