The debut of the new campus highlights India’s importance as a significant market for Boeing in the commercial and defense sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the majority of engineers will continue to work from the Boeing India Engineering & Technology Centre in Bengaluru’s <\/a><\/strong>Bagmane Tech Park, the new facility will comprise numerous labs, testing facilities, and part of its R&D operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second-largest campus outside of its Virginia headquarters will open, according to plans released by Boeing. The Boeing India campus is scheduled to open by the end of 2023 and will be situated in Aerospace Park in Devanahalli, close to Kempegowda International Airport.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement released on January 30 (Monday), Boeing India claimed that it had invested more than $200 million in the construction of a 43-acre campus outside of Bengaluru<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project had already received approval in September 2018 from the HD Kumaraswamy-led Congress-JDS coalition government, which had only recently taken office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
