MUMBAI, 13 Jan 2023, <\/strong>Qatar Airways Flight from Mumbai, India to Doha, Qatar declared an emergency shortly after takeoff from Mumbai International Airport (BOM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Qatar Airways flight included Boeing 777 Freighter<\/strong> aircraft. According to initial reports from our source at Mumbai airport, the Qatar airways Flight crew declared a Full emergency just after taking off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways B777-FDZ, a cargo plane declared a Full emergency due to Landing gear related concerns<\/strong>. The flight is operated by the airline a weekly scheduled flight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per our source, the flight took off 30 mins late of actual time at 2:05 PM IST<\/strong>. Shortly after taking off the pilot was sure that there was some concern related to Landing gear and they declared a full Emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now according to flight Radar 24<\/a> data, the flight operated by Qatar Airways is QR8605 and has registration A7-BFF<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft was airborne for around 35 minutes to burn the fuel to safely land back. The aircraft safely landed at 2:40 PM IST back at Mumbai Airport. Boeing 777-FDZ A7-BFF is now grounded and under maintenance at Mumbai Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not the first time that Qatar Airways Cargo has been involved in an Emergency situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 5, 2022, the incident happened as the plane with the registration A7-BFH was flying flight QR8141 from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) to Chicago. The aircraft\u2019s right wing collided with the pole as it was taxiing after touching down runway 10C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways representative stated,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
