The plane landed safely and ambulances were waiting to treat the injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_Airlines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">United Airlines <\/a><\/strong>stated 2 passengers and 3 crew members were taken to a hospital and they are expected to be OK. Upon arrival, 2 passengers and 3 crew members were met by medical personnel and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>We\u2019re grateful to our crew members for their efforts to ensure the safety of our staff and passengers.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-federal-aviation-administration\">Federal Aviation Administration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Federal_Aviation_Administration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federal Aviation Administration(FAA)<\/a><\/strong>, the B767 reported turbulence as it flew directly over Cancun. The  <strong>Federal Aviation Administration<\/strong> is now investigating and expected to post a preliminary accident report later this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-clear-turbulence\">What is clear turbulence?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Aviation experts said situations like this usually happen when the seasons change and they fly into what&#8217;s called clear turbulence. Unfortunately, sometimes pilots can&#8217;t avoid it because they can&#8217;t see it. That&#8217;s why they say it&#8217;s important to always wear a seatbelt when you&#8217;re sitting down during a flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Hot air rises, cold air sinks. He told twenty people were taken to hospitals, including 11 people deemed to be in serious condition.
