The Government of Estonia backed entity, Nordic Aviation Group<\/strong> has recently announced an association with Attestor<\/strong>, who has recently invested in Condor airline for 51% stake<\/strong> for launching “Marabu”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nordic Aviation Group which operates two airlines named as Nordica and Xfly<\/strong> and also has the company providing consulting services Nordic Aviation Advisory O\u00dc has partnered with Investment firm Attestor, parent of German carrier-Condor to form the new airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nordic Aviation Group in association<\/strong> with Attestor to launch Marabu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Marabu which plan to start its operation with six Airbus <\/a>A320<\/strong> aircraft will get AOC and ACMI support from Nordic Aviation Group. They have scheduled to fly from Hamburg and Munich to Mediterranean, Egypt, the Canary Islands, Portugal and Spain destinations by Summer of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Newly formed airline will be managed by ex-Sun Express CEO and former Condor sales manager Paul Schwaiger. Attestor subsidiary Condor will be responsible for sale of Marubu flight tickets as a general sales agent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nordica<\/a> will provide an aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) services to Marubu. This will help for speedy and seamless start of flight operations. But the Marabu will also have its own aircrafts by summer of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEOs remarks over Partnership<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

CEO of upcoming airline, Paul Schwaiger said<\/strong>, the partnership of Marabu with Nordic Aviation Group will help the best possible chances to grow and succeed in short time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schwaiger further added that, \u201cThe competence and the successful performance of the past years characterizing the Nordic Aviation Group has given us trust towards this company. We are very happy to work with such a strong partner. Together we can build up a new strong airline for the strongly increasing demand next summer.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO of Nordic Aviation Group, Jan Palm\u00e9r<\/strong> stated that, Aviation sector in Europe is growing Rapidly now, witnessing a resurgence of demand. It\u2019s actively recruiting and looking to expand. The greatest growth can be witnessed in the segment of leisure and holiday travelers – the market Marabu will be focusing on. We are glad to undertake this path together, completing to perfection one another\u2019s competencies, and thus building a sustainable business model and strategic partnership. This additional business secures strong growth of the Nordic Aviation Group over the long-term.\u201d He believes that Aviation Industry is going to surprise everyone positively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Criticism from the Pilot union<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As Reported by Aero Telegraph, the president of pilots’ union Vereinigung Cockpit VC Stefan Herth is worried about new airline, “If the same owner serves the same routes with the same aircraft and uses Condor sales, many questions are raised.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While questioning about ethics of enterprise he further said, “Especially the choice of the place of registration Estonia gives cause for concern.” In recent years, the country has developed into a kind of “Panama of aviation”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the Group operates a fleet of 17 aircraft. Fleet consists of CRJ900, ATR72-600 and Airbus A320 aircraft types. In the coming months, they plan to increase the fleet with 4 more new Airbus A320neo aircraft. As of today, the group operates in seven European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Group currently employs 600 aviation professionals and plan to hire 250 more in coming months. Earlier they used to operate as Commercial airline but after switching to capacity provider they have reached 1.2 million euro in profit in 2021. Today the company has vision to become partner with major European airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bottomline<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Nordic Aviation Group partnership with German carrier Condor parent Investment firm attestor will help it in expanding its network further into Western Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problems with Union and other regulatory workload it might differ the launch of airline. But with support from established firms, Marabu is set to become a successful German entrant in Industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
