And it has emerged that the country\u2019s aviation regulator, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Directorate_General_of_Civil_Aviation_(India)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA)<\/a><\/strong>, will also look into the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"452\" height=\"274\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/GO-air-1579810377.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27864\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/GO-air-1579810377.jpg 452w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/GO-air-1579810377-300x182.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 452px) 100vw, 452px\" \/><figcaption><strong>Go First | aviationa2z.com<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Go First&nbsp;has been affected by a surge in flight delays and cancellations. There have been increasing incidents of passengers coming to the airport only to find out their flight does not exist. Social media complaints about the airline have also been raised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>And the incidents have not gone unnoticed by the&nbsp;Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). A senior aviation minister informed that the regulator will investigate the matter and&nbsp;\u201cdue process will be followed.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An airport official also commented, \u201cThere have been not one but a few instances over the past few weeks where the passengers have come to the airport, found out that the flight does not exist, and rather than providing a reason for the same, they have just been provided an option of a refund. This may be a temporary impact of the aircraft availability problems but passengers are being inconvenienced.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-go-first\">Go First <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go First is operating 31 out of its 59 aircraft, as more than 40% of its planes are grounded. Many of its&nbsp;Airbus A320&nbsp;planes are waiting for spare parts and engines, which have been postponed due to global supply chain issues.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The carrier\u2019s capacity issues were also highlighted when the DGCA published this year\u2019s winter schedule.
