{"id":27578,"date":"2022-10-21T19:12:57","date_gmt":"2022-10-21T13:42:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?p=27578"},"modified":"2023-11-15T14:58:08","modified_gmt":"2023-11-15T09:28:08","slug":"pakistan-airlines-flight-attendant-went-missing-after-landing-in-toronto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2022\/10\/21\/pakistan-airlines-flight-attendant-went-missing-after-landing-in-toronto\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan Airlines flight attendant went missing, after landing in Toronto"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">After arriving at <em>Pearson International Airport <\/em>in Toronto, a member of the flight crew for <strong>Pakistan International Airlines<\/strong> (PIA) has vanished. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 14, 2022, at 16:30 local time, Aijaz Ali Shah was a flight attendant on flight PK 781 from <strong>Islamabad International Airport<\/strong> (ISB), which touched down in Toronto. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/295666_100124_updates.jpg\" alt=\"After arriving at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, a member of the flight crew for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has vanished. \" class=\"wp-image-27581\" style=\"width:330px;height:187px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/295666_100124_updates.jpg 700w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/295666_100124_updates-600x343.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/295666_100124_updates-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Shah did not make it to the <strong>crew bus<\/strong> that took airline employees to their layover accommodation after airport immigration, a PIA spokeswoman confirmed to Canadian media site Global News. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report added that after reaching the airport, <strong>Shah quickly moved towards the Canadian immigration counter<\/strong> because he was the first person in the row but he then disappeared as none of the crew members could find him again at the airport.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly after Shah went missing from the airport, the other crew members waited for him for about two hours in their bus and looked for him at the airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>According to PIA&#8217;s official spokesperson Abdullah H. Khan, &#8220;<strong>The aircraft purser and our station manager Toronto kept on calling his given numbers for two days but no response.&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"718\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/pia-banner.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27582\" style=\"width:296px;height:206px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/pia-banner.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/pia-banner-600x421.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/pia-banner-300x210.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/pia-banner-768x539.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/pia-banner-750x526.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When Shah failed to show up for the airline&#8217;s return trip to Islamabad, the incident was reported to Canadian authorities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the third time a cabin crew member has vanished in Canada in 2022, according to a Pakistan Airlines representative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another airline representative verified to a <strong>Pakistani media site<\/strong> that a total of seven airline crew members have &#8220;<strong>escaped<\/strong>&#8221;
