Jet Airways is ready to begin its second innings in India after a gap of nearly two and a half years. The airline has already been granted an operating permit from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, it carried out the training of the 1st batch of cabin crew last week at the Gurugram center. With Sanjiv Kapoor at the helm as CEO, Jet Airways<\/a> <\/strong>will start operations on domestic routes initially, until the airline reaches the twenty aircraft mark required for it to fly internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kapoor has been an aviation industry veteran as he has occupied leadership roles in multiple airlines like Vistara and SpiceJet. Interestingly, Jet airways will not operate even a single aircraft from its older fleet instead all the planes will be brand new and leased from foreign lessors.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
