Notably, HAL also has plans for the Israeli Heron TP drones production which could be used in medium-altitude regions (up to 35,000 feet) and will be designed to work for 45 hours. The Heron drones would be provided with automatic taxi-takeoff and landing (ATOL) and satellite communication (SATCOM) systems for an extended range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hindustan Aeronautics Limited&#8217;s collaboration is also with the Defense Research and Development Organisation <\/strong>(DRDO) for 2 separate drone projects to ramp up surveillance across the borders and over parts of the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-us-and-indian-army\">The US and Indian Army<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>India will soon flex its military might before China when it participates with the US in a two-week-long joint exercise less than a hundred kilometers&nbsp;from the LAC.
