The carrier began scheduled services after getting the relevant Air Operator\u2019s Permit from Indian authorities in February 2016. However, QuikJet was already working on charter cargo services since 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fast-forward to 2022, and&nbsp;Indian aviation&nbsp;could see QuikJet return to the skies once again, operating charter and scheduled air cargo services. According to our source, the carrier could be operational in just a couple more months, initially beginning with 2 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>News anency has managed to confirm that QuikJet will induct 2 Boeing 737-800 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) planes.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rajiv-gandhi-international-airport\">Rajiv Gandhi International Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Both airframes are yet to be given an Indian registration, but they can be identified with MSN numbers 28382 and 30643. Of these, MSN 30643 is already in the South Asian country and getting a fresh coat of paint in QuikJet\u2019s colors in an MRO facility at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyderabad.aero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) in Hyderabad.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MSN 30643 has been at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyderabad.aero\/\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyderabad.aero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) in Hyderabad.<\/a> since July 29th, 2022. The plane arrived there from Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TNA) in China, where it was undergoing conversion from passenger to freighter configuration. QuikJet has started hiring personnel before its impending launch.
