So Rs 3000 Delhi &#8211; Mumbai fare again soon? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CTC15CuGLQ\">pic.twitter.com\/CTC15CuGLQ<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Tarun Shukla (@shukla_tarun) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/shukla_tarun\/status\/1557325761379307520?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 10, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building infrastructure to face rise in travell demand<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Civil Aviation has given &#8220;<strong><em>in-principle<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; approval for the construction of 21 Greenfield Airports across the nation, including Mopa in Goa, Navi Mumbai, Shirdi, and Sindhudurg in Maharashtra, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, Hassan, and Shivamogga in Karnataka, Dabra (Gwalior) in Madhya Pradesh, Kushinagar, and Noida (Jewar) in Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the ministry, <em>a number of circumstances, including site acquisition, required clearances, the removal of barriers, financial closure, etc., by the separate airport developers, affect how quickly airports will be built. The concerned airport developer and the relevant state government are responsible for carrying out airport projects, including funding the projects (in case the state government is the project proponent).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the government routinely reviews the Greenfield Airport Projects to address any problems preventing their completion. Eight Greenfield airports, including Durgapur, Shirdi, Sindhudurg, Pakyong, Kannur, Kalaburagi, Orvakal, and Kushinagar, have been operationalized so far out of a total of 21 Greenfield airports where &#8216;in-principle&#8217; has been granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Government UDAN Scheme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jyotiraditya Scindia, <em>India&#8217;s minister of civil aviation, claimed on Sunday that the country&#8217;s civil aviation sector has seen a full transformation in the past eight years.
