A Lighting strike hits IndiGo airline’<\/a>s plane and caused injury<\/strong> to aircraft technicians at Nagpur Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to our source, the technicians were ground handling IndiGo aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, IndiGo technicians were on mass sick leave due to low salaries<\/a> and poor working conditions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to our sources, the lighting struck the aircraft and two technicians were Heavily injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The technicians were Taxing aircraft for its flight from Nagpur to Lucknow <\/strong>and this Incident happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Technicians on Headset is heavily Injured and another one holding wire is also hurt and they are rushed to hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft involved is IndiGo’s ATR-72<\/strong>, a Turboprop aircraft, frequently used for such small airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not the first time such incidents are happening, many technicians were injured in India due to lightning strikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to DGCA rules,<\/strong> the use of headsets is prohibited during bad weather and lighting situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo Flight Canceled at Nagpur Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to Flight Radar 24, the Indigo Nagpur- Lucknow flight is Cancelled<\/strong> Now. The plane involved is ATR-72-600 and has registration VT-IRA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight is scheduled to depart at 5:35 Pm and is still on the ground due to a lightning strike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
