Japan Airlines (JAL) has raised the frequency of flights between Bengaluru and Tokyo from twice to three a week starting Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japan Airlines flight expansion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to a statement from the firm, the new trip offers yet another practical choice for travellers flying to or from Japan as well as those connecting to or from the US and Canada.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March of that year, JAL was supposed to launch the first and only direct flight link between Bengaluru and Tokyo (Narita). The airline began operations with special flights only as needed as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the Air Bubble agreement with the Indian government, JAL began operating regular flights once per week in March 2021. JAL is happy to expand its flight frequency in response to the pandemic’s slow global recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The airline currently offers three roundtrip flights per week”<\/em><\/strong>, According to the statement, JAL is making progress toward the initial goal of running just one flight every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japan Airlines’ Vice President and Regional Manager for India, Shinya Naruse, stated<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

“We are thrilled to advance in providing more convenient flights to Japan and subsequently more possibilities for connecting to North America in order to better serve the population in Bengaluru.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We’ll keep working to make sure that our visitors travelling between India and Japan are as safe and comfortable as possible and, in doing so, help to maintain a healthy exchange of social and economic values between the two nations.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The improvement of non-stop connectivity to important international destinations is one of BIAL’s top strategic priorities, according to Satyaki Raghunath<\/em><\/strong>, Chief Strategy and Development Officer of Bangalore International Airport Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Direct flights from India to Japan have a significant market potential for both business and leisure travellers. The only airport in South India with direct flights to Japan is ours. As a result, we are thrilled about Japan Airlines’ establishment of a third weekly frequency to Tokyo Narita Airport, which will significantly facilitate travel between India and Japan and other countries.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAL flies the route using a Boeing 787-8 aircraft with 30 business class seats and 156 award-winning economy seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
