On May 21, 2020, the ministry made it mandatory for passengers to do web check-in and get a boarding pass then itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ministry-of-civil-aviation\">Ministry of Civil Aviation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It has come at the notice of MoCA (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.civilaviation.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ministry of Civil Aviation<\/a>) that airlines are charging an additional amount for printing boarding passes from the traveles,&#8221; the ministry told on Twitter. This additional charge is not in accordance with the instructions as per the provisions of Aircraft Rules, 1937, it stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It has come to the notice of MoCA that airlines are charging additional amount for issuing boarding passes from the passengers.
