As many as 3 flights of International airlines made emergency landings at various airports in India in the last 48 hours, making it a day of technical emergencies for various airlines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directorate General of Civil Aviation <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation <\/a>(DGCA), these landings were made in Calicut, Chennai, and Kolkata on Friday and Saturday.\u201cWe had 2 emergency landings of foreign operators on Saturday. Air Arabia at Cochin due to hydraulic problems and Ethiopian at Kolkata due to pressurization problem,\u201d  DGCA official stated.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DGCA has ordered a detailed investigation into all of these incidents. Meanwhile, a Hyderabad-bound IndiGo airliner from Sharjah was diverted to Pakistan\u2019s Karachi early in the morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo flight 6E-1406 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIndiGo <\/a>flight 6E-1406, operating from Sharjah <\/a>to Hyderabad was diverted to Karachi. The pilot observed a technical defect. Necessary procedures were followed and as a precaution, the aircraft was diverted to Karachi,\u201d IndiGo stated in a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
