Interestingly, 2 of the A350s and the A321neo had been initially ordered by Russian carriers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-which-aircraft-was-delivered\">Which aircraft was delivered?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 4 aircraft delivered to Turkish Airlines are as follows:TC-LGG: An A350 with MSN 565 flew from Toulouse to Istanbul on July 6th.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"582\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/TurkishAirlines-1024x582.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/TurkishAirlines-1024x582.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/TurkishAirlines-600x341.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/TurkishAirlines-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/TurkishAirlines-768x436.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/TurkishAirlines-750x426.jpg 750w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/TurkishAirlines-1140x648.jpg 1140w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/TurkishAirlines.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption><strong>Turkish Airlines | aviationa2z. com<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This particular aircraft appears to have been ordered by Turkish Airlines right from the start.TC-LGI: Also an A350, this jet has MSN 457 and flew from Toulouse to Istanbul on July 8th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The jet was initially ordered by Aeroflot but could not be delivered due to sanctions. Up until its current delivery to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.turkishairlines.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">Turkish<\/a>, it had mainly been in storage since late January.TC-LGJ: The third A350 delivered, this jet has MSN 463 and was delivered to Istanbul on July 7th.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Up until its current delivery flight, this Aeroflot-ordered aircraft had also been in storage for the past 6 months.TC-LUJ: This is an A321neo that bears MSN 10883. Supplied on July 7th from Montpellier\u2013M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e (MPL) to Istanbul, the aircraft appears to have been ordered by S7 Airlines but has also become &#8216;undeliverable&#8217; due to sanctions. According to AIB Family Flights, ownership of the jet was transferred to Airbus Financial Services, which may be the lessor for the narrowbody aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Turkish Airlines&nbsp;swooped in to take A350s ordered by<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.turkishairlines.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Turkish Airlines<\/a> seems to be one of the largest airline &#8216;passenger&#8217; scooping up originally ordered by and make for Russian carriers. Sanctions due to Russia&#8217;s actions in Ukraine have resulted in an inability to deliver the aircraft, affecting both Airbus and Boeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only has Turkish Airlines\u00a0swooped in to take A350s ordered by Aeroflot, but it has now also accepted an A321neo originally ordered by Russia&#8217;s S7 Airlines. However, the A350-900s lack the white engine cowlings and red tail representative of the carrier&#8217;s standard paint scheme. This tells us that they were possibly delivered to Istanbul in their unique red and blue colors.
