SpiceJet which has been facing a tough had another forgetful day as it saw two of its flights being forced to land due to a technical snag.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Since June 19, there have been seven incidents involving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spicejet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">SpiceJet <\/a>flights. Fuselage door warnings lit up on two separate flights while taking off on June 24 and June 25, forcing them to abandon their trips and return.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"380\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/spicejet_59073.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22234\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/spicejet_59073.jpg 640w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/spicejet_59073-600x356.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/spicejet_59073-300x178.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption><strong>SpiceJet | Aviationa2z.com<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical snag (defect) means a condition existing in a flight (including its systems) or aircraft component originating from any cause other than damage, which would preclude it or another aircraft part from performing their intended functions or would decrease the expected service life of the aircraft or the aircraft component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-directorate-general-of-civil-aviation\">Directorate General of Civil Aviation <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dgca.gov.in\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Directorate General of Civil Aviation<\/a> (DGCA) has regulations and procedures for monitoring snags experienced during aircraft operations. They took out a relevant non-normal checklist, however fuel quantity kept decreasing. PIC determined to divert the aircraft to Karachi (KHI). Aircraft diverted in coordination with ATC and landed safely at KHI&#8221; stated the DGCA report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Go First Delhi-Patna flight (G8-131)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kandla-Mumbai flight of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spicejet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">SpiceJet <\/a>was at 23,000 feet altitude when the windshield&#8217;s outer pane cracked. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spicejet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">SpiceJet <\/a>stated, &#8220;On 5th July 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spicejet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">SpiceJet <\/a>Q400 aircraft was working SG 3324 (Kandla &#8211; Mumbai). During cruise at FL230, P2 side windshield outer pane cracked. Pressurization was observed to be normal.
