The flights will be operated by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conviasa.aero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">Conviasa&#8217;s <\/a>Airbus&nbsp;A340 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">\u00a1Nos vamos a China! The itinerary of the flight is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Caracas (CCS) 22:00 \u2013 Guangzhou (CAN) 16:00+1 Saturday via Tehran (IKA)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Guangzhou (CAN) 19:00 \u2013 Caracas (CCS) 13:30+1 Monday via Tehran (IKA)<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By launching the new route, China&#8217;s Guangzhou will be Conviasa&#8217;s third destination in Asia, after&nbsp;Russia&#8217;s Moscow&nbsp;and Iran&#8217;s Tehran.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2022\/06\/26\/which-airlines-to-order-the-b737-max-10-once-it-has-been-certified\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">Conviasa&nbsp;launched<\/a> the route between Caracas and Moscow&#8217;s Vnukovo International Airport in May 2021. The service began once in two weeks and was once increased to a weekly basis in November 2021. This route will also make Conviasa the only South American operator to provide scheduled passenger flights to Guangzhou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conviasa approved early last month that it will launch scheduled passenger flights to Algiers, Algeria (ALG), another Venezuela&#8217;s allied country, making Algiers its first destination in Africa. The flights already began on July 27th. Operations will also be carried out by its A340.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Algiers route was declared after Venezuela&#8217;s President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro&#8217;s Eurasian tour to Turkey, Algeria, and Iran early last month, aiming to reaffirm commercial alliances.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Conviasa also schedules services to Doha, Qatar, for the&nbsp;World Cup&nbsp;at the end of this year, although there are no confirmed operations now.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-national-institute-of-civil-aeronautics\">National Institute of Civil Aeronautics <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Venezuela&#8217;s civil aviation regulator, the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Institute_of_Civil_Aviation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">National Institute of Civil Aeronautics <\/a>(INAC), has authorized regular commercial passenger and cargo flights to the following countries: Brazil, Cuba, Turkey, Russia, Mexico, Bolivia, Panama, Portugal, St. Vincent, and the Grenadines, Spain, Iran, and China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After receiving an A340 in January 2021, Conviasa now has four A340s, including one A340-200, one A340-300, and two A340-600. One issue with Conviasa&#8217;s A340 fleet is that the average age of the aircraft is over 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aging fleet issue is mainly because of the&nbsp;sanctions&nbsp;imposed by the United States and the resulting domestic economic crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"760\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/conviasa.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22132\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/conviasa.jpg 760w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/conviasa-600x379.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/conviasa-300x189.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/conviasa-750x474.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><figcaption><strong>Aviationa2z.com<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conviasa and all its 30+ aircraft were sanctioned by the US in February 2020 after the US considered President Maduro using the national-owned carrier for political purposes.
