According to a statement released on Friday, Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International IGI airport<\/strong> has been named the best in South Asia and India for the fourth consecutive year at the Skytrax World Airport Awards<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a statement from GMR, the airport increased its overall ranking from 45th to 37th<\/strong> and is the only airport from India to be listed among the top 50 airports in the world. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n

The GMR Infra-run airport has also been dubbed “the cleanest airport” in South Asia and India, according to the statement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Videh Jaipuriar, CEO of Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), <\/strong>a GMR Infrastructure Limited-led consortium, “all the airport workers, stakeholders, and partners operating at the airport have made Delhi airport the best airport in India and South Asia.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
According to him, the Delhi airport has consistently raised the bar for giving all of its visitors the greatest airport experience, and it will do so going forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the statement, the Skytrax World Airport Awards<\/strong> are based on an annual study of 500 airports’ facilities and customer service to determine overall airport satisfaction. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over 100 different nationalities of airport visitors filled out the survey questionnaires over the course of a nine-month period from September 2021 to May 2022. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Along with check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security, immigration, and departure<\/em>, it also analysed customer experience across airport service and product key performance indicators. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
