The regulator had fined Vistara Rs 10 lakh, at the beginning of June, due to the airline violating takeoff and landing clearance as it was given to first officers without conducting any training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-indigo-was-handed-a-rs-5-lakh-fine-by-the-dgca\">IndiGo was handed a Rs 5 lakh fine by the DGCA <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This came after IndiGo was handed a Rs 5 lakh fine by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dgca.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">DGCA <\/a>for denying boarding to a specially-abled child.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Before that, SpiceJet also told that its 90 barred pilots will undergo re-training after the DGCA charged a Rs 10 lakh fine on the carrier.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn the case of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Air_India\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">Air India<\/a> &#8212; where the regulation is not being followed &#8212; a show-cause notice was issued to the Airline and also a personal hearing was afforded.
