Etihad Airways <\/strong>sees India as a key market and is relying on the wide-body Airbus A350<\/strong> aircraft to meet demand, according to Neerja Bhatia, vice president<\/strong>, Indian subcontinent, Etihad Airways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

India’s demand prospects are similarly bright, thanks to the country’s booming economy, rising middle-class income, <\/strong>and increased student and corporate travel. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
While demand for aircraft has increased globally due to an increase in leisure and corporate traffic<\/strong>, the aviation industry’s present issues include rising fuel prices<\/strong>, which have risen sharply since the Russian-Ukraine war. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

As a result, airlines have had to reroute their flights, resulting in longer flight times and greater expenses. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The biggest source of suffering is ATF prices, with varied approaches resulting in greater costs,” <\/strong>Bhatia noted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
