{"id":20771,"date":"2022-05-23T17:08:56","date_gmt":"2022-05-23T11:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?p=20771"},"modified":"2022-05-23T19:34:02","modified_gmt":"2022-05-23T14:04:02","slug":"saudi-arabia-bans-international-flights-from-16-countries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2022\/05\/23\/saudi-arabia-bans-international-flights-from-16-countries\/","title":{"rendered":"Saudi Arabia bans international flights from 16 countries"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Saudi citizens will be barred from traveling to 16 countries, including India, Turkey, and Lebanon.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\"><strong>In light of the resurgence of new COVID-19 cases,&nbsp;Saudi Arabia&nbsp;has&nbsp;banned&nbsp;citizens from traveling to 16 countries across Asia, Africa, and South America.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"additional-information\"> Saudi Ministry of Health declared 414 new infections of COVID, <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">As reported by News, the countries named on the list are India, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, Indonesia, Vietnam, Armenia, Belarus, and Venezuela.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday, the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Saudi_Arabia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">Saudi <\/a>Ministry of Health declared 414 new infections of COVID, with the weekly figures seeing a five-fold increase compared to those seen through March and April. Exemptions stay in place for those that have received a vaccine waiver based on medical grounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No information has been made regarding how long the measures will be enforced, and it appears no new restrictions have been implemented for incoming passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concerns have been increased in the country regarding reports of monkeypox worldwide; though it has not played a part in the recent flight bans. Hong Kong is an outlier, with incoming passengers from certain countries capable to enter,&nbsp;providing they are vaccinated, take a test on arrival, and are willing to quarantine for seven
