The passenger load factors \u2014 or occupancy rates \u2014 for all major Indian private carriers were above 78 percent in April, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"519\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/GettyImages-617924296.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20727\" Go First, Air India, and AirAsia India had load factors of 85.9%, 78.7%, 82.9 percent, 80.3 percent, 79.5 percent, and 79.6 percent in April 2022, according to the report.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travel restrictions enacted in India and other countries in response to the COVID-19 outbreak have had a substantial impact on the aviation business in the previous two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>IndiGo, India&#8217;s largest airline, transported 64.11 lakh passengers in April, accounting for 58.9% of the domestic market, according to the DGCA.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the aviation regulator, Go First was ranked second, carrying 11.09 lakh passengers in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to DGCA data, SpiceJet carried 10.01 lakh passengers and Air India carried 8.26 lakh passengers in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the figures, Vistara and AirAsia India carried 9.04 lakh and 5.92 lakh passengers in April, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>According to DGCA data, AirAsia India achieved the best on-time performance of 94.8 percent in April at four major airports, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sunil Bhaskaran, MD and CEO of AirAsia India, commented on the achievement, saying, &#8220;<strong><em>Ensuring efficiency and consistency in our operations is key to offering outstanding service across all our touchpoints.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><strong><em>&#8220;We&#8217;ve done this by focusing on technology, including the mature use of our RedSmart aviation analytics software, which allows real-time monitoring of Precision Time Schedule activities for aircraft turnaround during base and transit departures&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p><cite>He added<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/1128420-airport-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"
