Jet Airways <\/strong>has received the necessary approvals to resume operations. The country’s aviation authority, the DGCA,<\/strong> has given the airline that was suspended due to financial difficulties an Air Operator Certificate (AOC).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AOC has cleared the door for the airline to relaunch with new capital, ownership, and management, as well as begin scheduled commercial flights in India.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jet Airways said in a statement that it plans to resume commercial operations in the following quarter of this year (July-September 2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AOC was the last step<\/strong> in a lengthy regulatory and compliance process that included multiple procedural checks to ensure the airline’s operational preparedness<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The procedure ended with the airline successfully conducting a series of proving flights <\/strong>with senior DGCA officials on board between May 15 and 17, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the announcement, the DGCA’s trust in Jet Airways’<\/strong> operational readiness has been reaffirmed by the AOC.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Over the next weeks, the aircraft and fleet strategy, network, product and customer value proposition, loyalty programme, and other features will be revealed in stages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additional senior management appointments will be announced next week, and operational hiring will begin in earnest, with former Jet Airways employees <\/strong>given preference whenever possible, according to the business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
