Jyotiraditya Scindia, India’s aviation minister,<\/strong> is now in the United States, where he met with American aerospace companies <\/strong>to discuss ways to increase collaboration with the Indian industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a report by news agency PTI, Scindia arrived in New York on Thursday for the first leg of his tour to the United States and began his engagements with meetings with Blade, a New York-based technology-powered, global air mobility platform<\/strong>.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, Scindia tweeted, “Convinced that India will clear the way for the industry very soon<\/strong>.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The union minister attended a round table discussion hosted by the US-India Business Council on Friday (USIBC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Senior industry experts were present for the discussion, which focused on “ways to deepen<\/strong>” collaboration between the two countries in the civil aviation sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Had a fruitful discussion with USIBC members from the aviation community.” <\/p>
Scindia tweeted, “Spoke on India’s expanding focus and prospects in regional connectivity and urban air mobility.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
He also met Paul Jones, Ambassador for Raytheon Technologies, and Rick Duerloo, Senior Vice President of American aircraft giant Pratt & Whitney. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
