training centre <\/strong>for its pilots and personnel, according to co-founder Vinay Dube. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Dube, the 14,000-square-foot centre will be built in Gurgaon, Haryana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" airline has already hired 154 pilots, 115 cabin attendants, and 14 engineers.  <\/li><li>It is majority owned by ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. 26 of these pilots are already on the payroll, according to Dube, who is also the airline&#8217;s CEO. <\/li><li>Former IndiGo president Aditya Ghosh co-founded Akasa, which has bought 72 Boeing 737 Max planes and aims to fly its inaugural trip in July. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"588\" the regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, for a proving flight, which is required before receiving an <strong>air operator&#8217;s licence, according to Dube. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 11, <strong>Akasa<\/strong>, operating under the name SNV Aviation, acquired its initial regulatory approval, a no-objection certificate, and has applied for an
