Because of Fesa Evrensev in Turkish aviation history, the Turkish Airlines Pilots’ Association was the first to declare April 26th Pilots Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pilots’ goal to commemorate Fesa’s first flight, which took place in 1912. The International Federation of Air Line Pilots Associations (IFALPA) played a key role in establishing this day as World Pilots’ Day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The origins of this organisation can be traced back to a convention of pilots’ associations held in London in 1948. Furthermore, the conference’s goal was to give all pilots throughout the world an official way. To communicate with the newly formed International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Currently, 104 pilot groups<\/strong> have joined IFALPA, which currently represents more than a million pilots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, the IFALPA<\/a> decided in 2013 that it was past time to find a day to commemorate all of these pilots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, they decided that April 26th, a day that saw a famous character in aviation history take to the skies for the first time, would be an acceptable date. Subsequently, World Pilots Day was honoured for the first time the following year, on April 26th, 2014. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 10th World Pilots’ Day <\/strong>is being celebrated this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pilots worldwide have had a difficult year, with carriers suspending planes, some going bankrupt, and others ceasing operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
