{"id":19861,"date":"2022-04-16T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-16T07:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?p=19861"},"modified":"2022-04-16T02:53:31","modified_gmt":"2022-04-15T21:23:31","slug":"alliance-air-will-now-function-as-independent-business-unit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2022\/04\/16\/alliance-air-will-now-function-as-independent-business-unit\/","title":{"rendered":"Alliance Air will now Function As Independent Business Unit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\"><strong>Alliance Air will no longer be a subsidiary of Air India <\/strong>and will be administered as an independent business unit under the Government of India, the businesses announced on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">\"After its disinvestment on April 15, 2022, Alliance Air will no longer be a part of Air India and would be administered as an <strong>independent Business Unit under the Government of<\/strong> India,\" according to an official statement made by Alliance Air. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"348\" height=\"232\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1367031as.jpg\" alt=\"Alliance Air\n\" class=\"wp-image-19862\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1367031as.jpg 348w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1367031as-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 348px) 100vw, 348px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, Alliance Air CEO Vineet Sood said, &#8220;Going forward with absolute efficiency, Alliance Air will now sell its tickets under the Alliance Air logo.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air India tweeted, &#8220;For the kind attention of our esteemed passengers: Alliance Air is no longer a subsidiary of Air India.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Air India passengers who have tickets with a 4-digit flight number starting with 9 or a 3-digit flight number starting with 91 should be advised that their bookings have been transferred to Alliance Air.&#8221;
