{"id":19323,"date":"2022-03-27T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-27T03:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?p=19323"},"modified":"2022-03-26T20:23:44","modified_gmt":"2022-03-26T14:53:44","slug":"more-international-airlines-add-flights-to-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/27\/more-international-airlines-add-flights-to-india\/","title":{"rendered":"More international airlines add flights to India"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\"><strong>Emirates, a Dubai-based airline, <\/strong>will resume pre-pandemic flight frequencies to India on April 1, operating <strong>170 weekly flights<\/strong> to nine cities across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-text-align-center\"> In the run-up to the return of <strong>international scheduled operations, foreign airlines <\/strong>have started resuming service to India and expanding routes. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"539\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1587726905-9869.jpg\" alt=\"Emirates, will resume pre-pandemic flight frequencies to India on April 1, operating 170 weekly flights to nine cities across the country.\" class=\"wp-image-19242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1587726905-9869.jpg 720w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1587726905-9869-600x449.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1587726905-9869-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Emirates announced on Friday that it will operate <em>35 weekly flights from Mumbai, 28 weekly flights from Delhi, 24 weekly flights from Bengaluru, 21 weekly flights each from Chennai and Hyderabad, 14 weekly flights from Kochi, 11 weekly flights from Kolkata, nine weekly flights from Ahmedabad, and seven weekly flights from Thiruvananthapuram.  <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, <strong>Virgin Atlantic, <\/strong>based in the United Kingdom, has announced the launch of a new second daily service from London to Delhi, beginning June 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline already has <strong>one daily trip <\/strong>between Delhi and London and another between Mumbai and London. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;<strong>This will be our largest-ever flight programme to India, our third-largest market internationally<\/strong>,&#8221; said Alex McEwan, Virgin Atlantic&#8217;s Country Manager for South Asia.<\/p><p>During the summer of 2022, <strong>Thai Airways <\/strong>plans to operate 35 flights per week between India and Thailand. <\/p><p><em>&#8220;As India resumes international flying, <strong>we look forward to expanding our presence<\/strong> in the country as we deepen our partnership with IndiGo and plan to launch new service between <strong>Seattle and Bangalore<\/strong> later this year,&#8221;
