In the meanwhile, we&#8217;re concentrating on improving the surveillance of our 737 fleet<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 <\/strong>aeroplane was flying from Kunming to Guangzhou when it <strong>crashed in Tengxian County<\/strong>, Wuzhou. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Following the tragedy on Monday, China Eastern Airlines, one of China&#8217;s three major airlines, has <strong>grounded all of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft.<\/strong><\/li><li>According to state media, there were <strong>no foreigners<\/strong> among the 132 individuals on board the Chinese passenger airliner that crashed, which included 123 passengers and nine crew members.<\/li><li> The Boeing 737 Max is a more advanced variant of the Boeing 737-800, and both aircraft are part of the 737 series.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"770\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/collage-2_6_0.jpg\" alt=\"Due to disaster of a China Eastern Airlines B 737, the DGCA has placed Indian carriers' Boeing 737 fleets under &quot;increased surveillance&quot;\" class=\"wp-image-19182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/collage-2_6_0.jpg 770w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/collage-2_6_0-600x337.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/collage-2_6_0-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/collage-2_6_0-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/collage-2_6_0-750x422.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 770px) 100vw, 770px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the six months between October 2018 and March 2019, two Boeing 737 Max aeroplanes were involved in accidents, <strong>killing a total of 346 passengers. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>The DGCA banned Boeing 737 Max planes in India in March 2019 as a result of these two accidents.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In August of last year, the restriction on the aircraft&#8217;s commercial operations was removed after <a href=\"http:\/\/Boeing.com\">Boeing<\/a> completed necessary <strong>software corrections<\/strong> to the satisfaction of the DGCA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The jet crash has saddened Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"976\" height=\"549\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/114142286_max7tug.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/114142286_max7tug.jpg 976w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/114142286_max7tug-600x338.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/114142286_max7tug-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/114142286_max7tug-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/114142286_max7tug-750x422.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 976px) 100vw, 976px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Federal Aviation Administration <strong>(FAA)<\/strong> in the United States said it &#8220;<em>is <strong>aware of allegations<\/strong> that a Boeing 737-800 airliner operated by China Eastern Airlines crashed in China this morning.
