Our current staff is around 4,000\u2026 so we hope to get to 5,000 as we go through the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we take on new aircraft, deliver and increase capacity utilization, <strong>I think we\u2019ll see that number towards the end of this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u201cThis will include everyone on Vistara\u2019s payroll, <strong>but will not include external outsourced partners <\/strong>such as call centers or ground handling agencies,\u201d Kannan said.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> Before the pandemic, the airline, which began international operations in August 2019, had<strong> a fleet of around 40 aircraft and the number has increased to 50.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201cThere is a requirement as we are using the aircraft better.<\/em><\/p><p><em> In the last two years, although the number of fleets increased, the use of <strong>aircraft was lower\u2026so there was no need to increase the scale. <\/strong><\/em><\/p><p><em>That process has now started and is in full swing<\/em>&#8220;<\/p><cite>Vistara chief said, adding that people are also being hired for administrative work<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In his message to clients last week, Kannan promised that many changes and improvements are in the works, including <strong>fast-tracking initiatives across his IT infrastructure <\/strong>to make the digital experience more airport and on the ground,\u201d <\/em>he said in the message.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline has restored some of its onboard services to <strong>pre-pandemic standards, including
