Aviation contributes 2 percent of all carbon emissions produced yearly, and 12 percent of all CO2 emissions created by the transportation sector as a total. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Aircraft on average produced 90 g CO2 per RPK (revenue passenger kilometer) in 2019, according to analyses from the International Council on Clean Transportation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sustainable-aviation-fuel\">sustainable aviation fuel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Modern jet aircraft need fuel with a lot of energy density to send tens of thousands of kilograms flying into the air over long distances. As the production of SAF increases, its price will decrease.
