class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><strong>Called AeroZone, the center is part of the airport\u2019s \u00a31 billion ( $1.3 billion) transformation<\/strong> program and\u00a0will offer curriculum-linked sessions focused on the wide range of careers available in aviation for students between the <strong>ages of four and 18. <\/strong><\/p><p> It is expected to welcome more than <strong>5,000 students each year<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>AeroZone was unveiled on February 7, 2022 by <strong>Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham and Manchester Airport\u2019<\/strong>s managing director Karen Smart. <\/li><li>They were joined by 15 schoolchildren from <strong>Outwood Primary School in Heald Green<\/strong>, who were then treated to a tour of the new facility. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>AeroZone forms part of the education program at Manchester Airport, \u00a0in the airport\u2019s corporate social responsibility strategy.<\/li><li>According to the airport, it has committed to ensuring \u201c<strong>opportunity for all\u201d<\/strong> as one of the strategy\u2019s key objectives, with a pledge to support the education of at least <strong>60,000 young people over the next five years.<\/strong><\/li><li>Inside AeroZone,\u00a0a careers wall showcases the wide range of jobs available in the aviation industry as well as advice about how to access them.<\/li><li> <strong>Manchester Airport crew<\/strong>\u00a0 will also appear as guest speakers, giving students the chance to ask questions. <\/li><li>The design of the center, which includes <ul><li>a mix of classroom space and interactive zones,\u00a0<\/li><li>looks like the inside of an airplane, <\/li><li>and includes a cabin with seats, a cockpit and a flight simulator.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"710\" Aerozone at Manchester Airport gives pupils of all ages the chance to do that<\/em>\u201d <\/p><cite>UK Aviation minister Robert Courts said in a statement<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Greater
