UIA plans to add Oslo Gardermoen Airport to its extensive European network, and it is eyeing June 1st as a launch date for flights between the Ukrainian and Norwegian capitals.

Ukraine International Airlines initially intends to serve this latest route on a thrice-weekly basis, with flights leaving on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The outbound services will leave Kyiv at 08:25, and touch down in Oslo at 10:15 local time. The recovery travel will be a late afternoon affair, leaving Norway at 16:00, and landing in Ukraine at 17:50.

Accounting for time differences, this gives a flight time of two hours and 50 minutes in each direction. UIA’s report proudly details the fact that it “will be the first and presently the only airline in Ukraine to begin flights on this route.” In terms of non-Ukrainian carriers, SAS links Oslo and Kyiv every Tuesday with Airbus A320/A320neo aircraft.

Aviationa2z.com

Ukraine International Airlines will start flying between Kyiv and Oslo in June, providing passengers with onward connections in the Ukrainian capital.

People traveling from Oslo to Kyiv

A key selling point of this new route, as announced by UIA, is the wealth of connection possibilities present at its Kyiv–Boryspil hub.
