Italy\u2019s newly-created flag carrier ITA Airways.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The companies have agreed on certain key topics, including\u00a0<em>ITA\u2019s finances, consolidation of purchases, and other details.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" hub for flights to Africa and some routes to America.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>The news about the agreement were first\u00a0reported by Italian newspaper Il\u00a0<strong>Fogilio<\/strong>. <\/p><p>According to the source, the acquisition is going to be officially announced next week, starting on January 24, 2022.\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-text-align-center\">ITA\u00a0expressed an intention\u00a0to become a part of Lufthansa Group in November 2021, soon after the airline started operations.\n\n The companies have been in negotiations ever since,\u00a0negotiating the details.\u00a0<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img owned by the Italian government, and was created following the <strong>bankruptcy of Alitalia, Italy\u2019s long-suffering former flag carrier.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-left is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><a href=\"http:\/\/lufthansa.com\">Lufthansa<\/a> Group currently owns <strong>Swiss International Air
