Air India <\/a>ENGINEERING SERIVCES LIMTED <\/strong>Temporary employees are working on the post of aircraft technician, which is going on indefinite strike from. 17 January 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Air<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Among the jobs handled by aircraft maintenance technicians are aircraft fueling and readying for departure, marshaling, maintenance jobs etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No rise in salary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1- People have been demanding for the last two years to increase the salary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the upper officials of the company are ignoring this demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Most of us earn minimum wage of Rs 25,000 <\/strong>and despite that the airline included our salaries too for cuts imposed under economic measures. Since May 2020, a sum of out of Rs 1100 is being deducted from our salary. We have demanded a reimbursement<\/strong>,” <\/em>said a technician, requesting anonymity.<\/p>

He added that about 1,700 of them across India will opt for a “tool down”<\/strong> agitation a week from now.<\/em> <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Labor Law<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2- Under the labor law<\/strong>, after the completion of 3 years, the temporary employee will be reinstated in the permanent<\/strong> but this company is not ready to do anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Many of us have completed five years with Air India<\/strong> and our contracts will come up for renewal. The airline management has been silent on our long pending queries,<\/strong>“<\/em> the technician added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Dearness Allowance- Air India<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3- Despite being a PSU company, its Dearness Allowance (DA)<\/strong> is not being given to the employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To add dearness allowance from the last long demand is being mad. But the employee Officials not ready to listen to any problems.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forced strike is a last resort left.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s why all AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN working in AIESL all over the country from 17th. January are going on strike whose information has been given to the top officer of the employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
