Magistrate Judge, according to a statement by the Tennessee US Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/61cb0d3924ffa931ebd0410b_o_U_v2.jpg\" alt=\"Spirit Airlines passenger accused of assaulting crew, running to front of plane\" class=\"wp-image-16428\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/61cb0d3924ffa931ebd0410b_o_U_v2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/61cb0d3924ffa931ebd0410b_o_U_v2-600x338.jpg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/61cb0d3924ffa931ebd0410b_o_U_v2-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-black-color has-pale-ocean-gradient-background has-text-color has-background wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Amanda Renee Henry, 43, of Lebanon, Tennessee<\/strong>, is facing federal charges following an incident on board  <strong>Airlines (S64) (SAVE) flight NK 222 flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Nashville<\/strong> on November 27, 2021.<\/li><li>Passengers seated next to Henry requested to be moved to other seats due to Henry\u2019s behavior.<\/li><li>But as Henry was seated next to an<strong> emergency exit<\/strong>, flight attendants, concerned for the safety of the other passengers, decided to move Henry to another seat.<\/li><li> Henry refused to move, grabbed her carry-on bag and ran toward the front of the aircraft screaming,<strong><em> \u201cI\u2019m getting off this plane.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/spirit.com\">Spirit<\/a> Airlines)<\/li><li>Another flight attendant tried to block Henry from getting to the <strong>main cabin door and began to restrain her<\/strong>, at which time Henry began to kick and hit the flight attendant.<\/li><li> Henry also assaulted another flight attendant who assisted in trying to restrain her.<\/li><li>After flight attendants were able to restrain Henry, a passenger who happened to be <strong>an off-duty firefighter <\/strong>assisted by sitting with Henry and keeping her calm for the duration of the flight.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"744\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/spirit-airlines-drunken-brawl-01.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16434\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/spirit-airlines-drunken-brawl-01.jpeg 744w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/spirit-airlines-drunken-brawl-01-600x399.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/spirit-airlines-drunken-brawl-01-300x200.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 744px) 100vw, 744px\" \/><figcaption>Amanda Henry<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">When the Spirit plane landed at Nashville International Airport, Henry was arrested by the <strong>Nashville Airport Department of Public Safety and charged with public intoxication.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><strong><em>\u201cIn accordance with the Attorney General\u2019s directive, the prosecution of those who endanger the safety of airline passengers, flight crews, and flight attendants is a priority of this office&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p><cite>U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee Mark A. Wildasin<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;Those whose behavior disrupts or otherwise endangers the safety of persons on aircrafts should expect to face federal charges.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> &#8211;
