ATLANTA-<\/strong> A Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a> passenger says a male flight attendant told her he had taken a photograph of her while she slept on a flight from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to Mexico City International Airport (MEX).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The passenger, TikTok influencer Tasia Jewel, said the crew member also threatened to share the photograph on Facebook. She described the interaction as inappropriate and said it left her feeling \u201cincredibly unsafe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passenger Claims Delta Flight Attendant Photographed Her While Sleeping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tasia Jewel was traveling with Delta Air Lines to attend the Mexico City Formula 1 Grand Prix after previously attending the Austin Grand Prix. She boarded her flight in Austin<\/a> feeling tired and wanted to rest during the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The approximately three-hour flight gave her an opportunity to sleep. According to Tasia, she spent around half the journey resting without any unusual incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the situation changed when she reached Mexico City and prepared to leave the aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As she was deplaning, a male flight attendant standing near the aircraft door and jet bridge allegedly approached her and made an unexpected remark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey, yo friend, I took a picture of you while you were sleeping,\u201d the flight attendant reportedly told her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasia said she was immediately confused by the comment and asked the crew member what he meant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight attendant allegedly responded, \u201cYeah, I might just post it on Facebook.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to her account, several male flight attendants standing nearby started laughing. Another crew member reportedly added, \u201cYeah, she was knocked out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first flight attendant then repeated his suggestion that she might see the photograph on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasia said she was shocked by the exchange. She questioned why a crew member would take a photograph of a sleeping passenger without her knowledge and then suggest sharing it on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasia later explained the incident in a TikTok video, describing the flight attendant’s comments as inappropriate and unacceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said the crew member might have expected her to laugh along with the remark and treat it as a joke about falling asleep during the flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, she strongly disagreed with that approach, arguing that passengers should not have to worry about airline employees photographing them while they are sleeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasia also called on Delta to take action against the flight attendant<\/a> involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the incident, Tasia said she submitted a formal complaint to Delta Air Lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to PYOK<\/a>, the airline promised to investigate the interaction and examine what happened between the passenger and the flight attendant. The passenger said she had already filed a claim and expected the airline to address her concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the available account does not establish whether the photograph was actually taken, whether it was shared on Facebook or what disciplinary action, if any, Delta may take against the employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Delta Passenger Recently Complained About Flight Attendant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The latest complaint comes just days after another passenger accused a Delta flight attendant of disrespectful treatment during a separate flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atlanta-based playwright Craig Stewart said a crew member objected when he attempted to take multiple bags of complimentary pistachios from the onboard snack basket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stewart described the interaction as racially charged and subsequently filed a complaint with Delta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline initially responded with an apology and offered him a $100 voucher for future travel. However, Stewart rejected the proposed resolution, arguing that the compensation did not adequately address the humiliation and distress he experienced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following his rejection, a Delta customer service representative contacted him and promised to take the necessary action regarding the flight attendant involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
