MONTREAL-<\/strong> Air Canada (AC)<\/a> will launch seasonal non-stop flights between Montr\u00e9al (YUL), Canada, and Seville (SVQ), Spain, on September 8, 2027. The new service will provide a direct connection between North America and Andalusia, a region known for its historic landmarks, flamenco, festivals, and cuisine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route will begin with three weekly flights before increasing to four per week on October 1, 2027. Operated by the Airbus A321XLR<\/a>, the service will make Seville Air Canada’s fifth destination in Spain and offer additional travel options for passengers and Aeroplan Members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada Expands Its European Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada’s new Montr\u00e9al<\/a> to Seville route will give travellers a direct option for reaching southern Spain without connecting through another European airport. According to the airline, it will be the only non-stop service connecting Seville with North America when it launches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seville attracts visitors with its rich history, vibrant culture, acclaimed cuisine and position as a gateway to Andalusia. Its attractions extend beyond the summer peak, with spring and autumn offering milder temperatures for sightseeing, festivals and outdoor activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new service will strengthen Air Canada’s transatlantic network and improve access between Canada and southern Spain. It will also allow international travellers to connect through Montr\u00e9al to destinations across North America, the Caribbean and Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer and President of Cargo, said the route would strengthen the airline’s global network. He also stated that Air Canada is the largest airline by seats offered between Canada and Spain. The addition of Seville will expand travel options for customers and Aeroplan Members while establishing a new direct link between the city and North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights are available for booking through Air Canada’s official website and travel agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada will operate the route under flight numbers AC958 and AC959. The service will launch on September 8, 2027, with three weekly flights, increasing to four weekly flights from October 1, 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
