The airline&#8217;s account states that he tried to regain control of the suitcase, then reached for the handrail but <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Failed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">failed<\/a> to grasp it before falling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The carrier has therefore argued that Van der Meer&#8217;s actions either caused or contributed to his injuries.
