The schedule expands both domestic and international connectivity while increasing flight frequencies on several major U.S. routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta says it will be the only carrier at LAX serving all of the airport&#8217;s top 10 markets with multiple daily flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline also says the combination of its network scale, premium capacity, airport investments and long-standing presence in Los Angeles will strengthen its position in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Courtney Moore, Chief Revenue &amp; Experience Officer at Los Angeles World Airports, said Los Angeles shapes, transforms and influences the world, with LAX serving as a gateway for travelers arriving in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moore said investment by airline partners in connectivity supports Los Angeles as a leading global destination. The route will be operated with Embraer 175 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new service will provide easier access from Los Angeles to California&#8217;s Central Coast, including Carmel-by-the-Sea, the Monterey Peninsula and Big Sur. The launch is scheduled ahead of one of golf&#8217;s biggest championships the following summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the same day, Delta will also begin daily nonstop service between <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Salt+Lake+City\">Salt Lake City International Airport<\/a> (SLC) and Monterey (MRY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Los Angeles to Philadelphia<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Daily nonstop service between Los Angeles and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is scheduled to begin June 7, 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta will operate the route with an Airbus A321neo. The service will connect Southern California with Philadelphia&#8217;s historic attractions, culinary scene, arts and cultural offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img Planning, said the airline is continuing to invest in more ways for customers to experience California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She cited new Monterey service from both Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, along with continued growth at LAX, as part of Delta&#8217;s long-term commitment to Los Angeles and the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seattle will reach 8 daily flights under the expanded schedule, while Boston and Cabin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta&#8217;s LAX expansion also includes investments in premium airport facilities and onboard services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline says it offers more premium seats at LAX than any other airline and is continuing to improve the customer experience across the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-expanded-airport-facilities\">Expanded Airport Facilities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta&#8217;s $2.3 billion Sky Way at LAX transformed Terminals 2 and 3 into a connected airport campus designed to support the airline&#8217;s long-term growth in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta continues to enhance wayfinding, security processing and terminal amenities to make airport journeys more convenient and efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta One customers have access to a dedicated Delta One Check-In experience with private TSA security screening. The service provides a more personalized and streamlined start to the journey, and Delta One customers also have access to exclusive Delta One Lounges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-larger-lounge-network\">Larger Lounge Network<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>LAX became the first airport in Delta&#8217;s network to offer two Delta One Lounges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta plans to open an additional 11,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club in Terminal 2 in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By 2028, Delta plans to have four dedicated lounge spaces at LAX: 2 Delta One Lounges and two Delta Sky Clubs across Terminals 2 and 3. Its international network from Los Angeles is operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft featuring 40 Delta One seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta One is also available on selected domestic routes from LAX, including Honolulu (HNL), Maui (OGG), Kona (KOA), New York-JFK (JFK), Boston (BOS) and Atlanta (ATL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-wi-fi-and-inflight-entertainment\">Wi-Fi and Inflight Entertainment<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>SkyMiles Members will receive fast, free Wi-Fi, including on flights from Los Angeles across the Pacific beginning in fall 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta Sync entertainment and elevated onboard amenities will also be available as part of the airline&#8217;s broader customer experience offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta says the dedication of its employees and their focus on personalized service have contributed to recognition for customer experience, operational excellence and reliability. Growth From Los Angeles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta&#8217;s expanded LAX schedule builds on significant international growth across the South Pacific and Asia-Pacific markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Across the South Pacific, Delta connects Los Angeles with Sydney (SYD), Brisbane (BNE), Melbourne (MEL) and Auckland (AKL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Melbourne service is scheduled to increase to daily for the peak period beginning December 22, while Auckland service is scheduled to return to daily beginning October 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta has expanded its international reach from LAX with new service to Hong Kong (HKG) and Shanghai (PVG), while also announcing service to Vancouver (YVR) and Manila (MNL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta says it now offers service to 25 international destinations from LAX and provides one-stop access to more than 100 countries through Delta and its global partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-larger-florida-schedule\">Larger Florida Schedule<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta is also expanding its Florida network from LAX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline says it remains the largest carrier from LAX to Florida and will operate its largest-ever Florida schedule, with up to 13 daily departures and more than 2,500 peak-day seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The schedule includes new service to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) and additional flights to Tampa (TPA), Orlando (MCO) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expanded Florida service adds capacity to a group of major leisure and business markets while increasing the number of travel options available to Los Angeles passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-expanded-new-york-and-chicago-service\">Expanded New York and Chicago Service<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta is expanding its New York network from Los Angeles with new service to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline says the Newark service builds on its position as the largest carrier between Los Angeles and New York City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta is also adding new routes to Chicago, further expanding its domestic network from LAX and providing additional options for major business and leisure travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-southern-california-airport-coverage\">Southern California Airport Coverage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta&#8217;s presence in Southern California extends beyond Los Angeles International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline serves the region through John Wayne Airport in Orange County (SNA), Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), Ontario International Airport (ONT) and Long Beach Airport (LGB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta has also restored seasonal Delta One service between New
