The airline has retained the aircraft for several decades because its combination of passenger capacity, performance, and range allows it to serve a wide variety of domestic and longer routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta&#8217;s 757-200 fleet remains substantial, with 75 aircraft reported in service as of June 30, 2026.
